General Workshop Information

Workshop Hours and Check-In Times

The workshop begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Please be sure to clear your schedule for the entire workshop. Do not make plans to leave either session early. You need to be able to participate for the full day on both days to be in this workshop.

Check-in starts at 9:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Seating is handled on a first come, first served basis. If you absolutely have to sit in a particular spot, you will need to arrive early!

Food

Please come already having had your breakfast so you are ready to go in the morning. You are welcome to bring snacks for the short breaks in the morning and afternoon. Bring money for lunch as we recommend you eat lunch with the other participants in your workshop at one of the nearby restaurants. It will be a “working lunch” on both days.

Dress

Dress is casual. We strongly recommend bringing a sweater, jacket or something to layer with so that you can stay comfortable in a meeting room setting with fluctuating temperatures throughout the day.

In consideration of other participants who may be sensitive, please do not wear any perfume or other fragrance.

Notes & Workshop Assignments

Please bring pen and paper to take notes during the class. You will be given a workshop folder for your notes and handouts. Electronic devices, such as laptop computers, tape recorders and digital recorders, are not permitted for recording or taking notes.
